Lower Crooked Lake, Wayland Michigan

Also a great topwater lake in the early summer and late spring. This is because the lake is down and the water is getting hot really quick into the year. Watch for pads later in the year to flip into

casey3535

Lake Linville, Kentucky, only fished once but caught good fish in late fall October, jig lake I think

Yitbos78

Big Lake, North Wayland Michigan

Great lake in early to mid summer with a pumpkinseed or watermelon yamamoto. Caught a good hand full of 4 1/2 lbers plus during tourneys out of there

FisherMOM

Black Lake, NY
supposedly a popular fishing lake in the Adirondacs!

Even if you've been fishing for 3 hours
and haven't gotten anything except
poison ivy and a sunburn,
you're still better off than the worm.

San Dam...R.I. summertime.....check out the shoreline.....nighttime is also good.

Lake Bisteneau LA State Park Launch love to fish in the fall, has grass, standing timber, flats next to deep water, & full of cypress trees.  Top water early & late with a spinnerbait bite most all day.

Fishaholic

Potato Creek State Park, just South of South Bend, Indiana

Fish the Westernmost side of the impoundment during mid May to Late June, casting plastic worms and tubes along the treelines, the submerged fenceline, and small jigs along the riprap on the Northern shoreline.

This is also an excellent place to camp, great facility.

The Clacasieu River, This river has several places to launch but is better known near Lake Charles, Louisiana. Favorite time of the year is summer time. Buzzbaits and soft plastics can be deadly on this river.

Green River Lake, Kentucky, great worm lake in June, it gets alot of local pressue, you gotta make long runs, to find unpressured creek arms

Yitbos78

Brooks Lake, Newaygo Michigan

Right next to Bills Lake...really good in the mid summer until fall with all plastics, especially neon colored culprit worms (chartruse excellent with pepper flake in it)

FisherMOM

Lake Champlain, NY!

(hee hee.. and it's MONSTER!)

Even if you've been fishing for 3 hours
and haven't gotten anything except
poison ivy and a sunburn,
you're still better off than the worm.

dave the dope man

Now a little further to the north east, we find a very small lake near Summerfield, Louisiana. the Home of Carl (the Mailman) Malone. Met him a few times  (not impressed). Anyhow,,,Like I said very small. Gotta go hit this  one early in the summer with top-water baits....Pop-R's work great on this lake. This lake was my second home growing up and the neat thing about this lake is ...There are NO HOUSES on this lake.......Quiet sloitude....Dave

Keech Pond........R.I. last spring early summer shoreline is best use a Sanko and fish it slow>

Ron Fogelson

Lake Bisteneau LA Launch at Port-O-Bisteneau, only place to love to put in when they drain the lake. Fish late summer early fall until they close the damn and allow the water level to return to normal pool.

Jared LeBlue

Sabine River near Sabine Island reserve near Starks, Louisiana. The summer time is my favorite on this river. Soft plastic and crankbaits are the best choices in the summer.

Grand River, Allendale Michigan

Just down the road from me! During mid summer to early fall casting the trees on pockets hollowed out by the flow of water. Throw a tube or a jig and pig and get ready to hold on!

Skipper (ripnlips)

Dale Hollow lake in tennesse in April.....use lizards to get those big largemouths off the beds or use senkos on the bluffs to get a great fight out of the smallmouths

Fishaholic

LaSalle Game Preserve, borders the Kankakee River in Indiana

LaSalle can be fished from boat or by walking the shoreline, surface baits and plastic baits work the best here from early June to late September...fish 1/8 oz surface baits or try flyrodding for some exceptional bluegill fishing...also, don't be surprised if you hook into a 10+ pound bass on any given day...landing it will be the big test.

Jared LeBlue

Man there must be some record posting going on. :shocking:
