great place to take a kid fishing, stockings are every two weeks after the 2nd week of March through first week of May.

Small rooster tails for the trout, plastic worms, single spins and tube baits for the bass.

Not a favorite of mine but I have been there and fished it....The Pearl River near Slidell, Louisiana. I fished the area north of I-10 and I believe it was called "three fingers pocket". I fished it in the late winter (about this time of year). I fished a char/pepper 7" lizard and a YUM crawworm.....Not a favorite like I said....Dave
