Lake Erie, Port Clinton, OH.  I have been catching walleyes and perch my entire life on a little boat out of the Channel Grove Marina.  Drifting Erie Deries tipped with night crawlers for walleye in the spring.  Dropping spreaders with minnows for Perch in the summer.

Salamonie Reservoir, Huntington IN.  Hit below dam in the summer with spinners and chartreuse grub trailers for walleye

Hawg Lake, LaPorte Indiana

This is a super lake for giant pike and big bass.

Plastic worms worked in the pads in June, surface baits along the channel edges, and safety-pin type spinners worked in the reeds and along the flats as the sun sets low is the ticket if you want to catch a lot of big bass.

Even if you've been fishing for 3 hours
and haven't gotten anything except
poison ivy and a sunburn,
you're still better off than the worm.

Muscatatuck FWA, North Vernon IN.  Hit the water as soon as it opens in the spring to catch nice largemouth before the pressure catches up to it having been dormant for months.  Senkos, lizards, anything plastic

All the lakes around us in Nebraska have a 21 incn minimum....kinda hard to have a weigh-in, LOL   Missouri and Iowa have a 15 inch minimum

Tippecanoe Lake, Indiana

Although I've never fished this one, every year half a dozen muskys over 52" are caught on large surface plugs and husky jerks.

Wolf River, Wisconsin

Late October, it's time for the White Bass run, jig n minnow combo is the ticket, there's no limit on how many fish you can take, it's great table fare, and they put up a great fight, last time I was there, I fished 2 days and brought home 390 filets, and I didn't keep a fish under 16"

Late September, early October is the time to be there, work the shorelines and the piers with tube baits and rooster tails for some great smallmouth action.
