Chicot Lake, located near Ville Platte Louisiana. Use to be one of my favorite places to fish. I liked it in the spring and soft platics were the key. Now they just need to drain it and make it a hunting reserve. :roll2:

how about.......... Lake Erie, Buffalo, NY

Even if you've been fishing for 3 hours
and haven't gotten anything except
poison ivy and a sunburn,
you're still better off than the worm.

Lake Barkley, Kentucky, Hot lake during spring, you can catch a limit off a fluke almost every trip

dave the dope man

Heres one of the Kitty-Katters.....Try out the Ouachita River north of Monroe, Louisiana. Go to the Alabama landing. Big ole cats on trot-lines baited with dog food scented with anise oil. Lots of great memories with my Grand-dad......I have a story for another time about a gar and a boat paddle, lets just say that ooopps up side your head.....Gotta go cook supper, be back a little later.....Dave

Lake Wawasee, Indiana

Lake Wawasee is the largest natural lake in Indiana, it has excellent bass fishing all year long, I prefer to work the channels that the cottages are on in late May for hungry bass that choose to enter the channels looking to make a meal out of the hordes of sunfish that inhabit the channels...I use large spinner baits and cranks in the channels,
you can also fish the deep flats in front of the seminary for some giant pike.

Lake Chicot, different from the first one, this one is located in Arkansas and is a great fishery, at least it was the last few times I went. I like fishing there in the fall. Top waters and rattle traps are deadly there.

St. Joseph River, Michigan

Excellent steelhead and smallmouth fishing where the river is closest to Indiana and excellent walleye and smallmouth fishing in the further north sections near the dam.

Wacky worms and texas-rigged tubes are your best bet for bass from Late June through October.

Mike Cork

In the rules it states that you don't have to have fished the lake. Of course it will make it hard to qualify for the bonus but at least you get in the drawing for the rest of the stuff. Post lakes and states from where ever you've been or search them up, maybe even and atlas

Fishing is more than just a hobby
