Hello! I am originally from Idaho, but I am currently in Colorado, well in Iraq.  I am serving my second tour in Iraq, and I am coming home to Idaho at the end of march and was wanting to spend sometime with the eife on the bank with our lines wet!  I am from Twin Falls, and if anybody know where there is good fishing within and hours drive could you let me know? I am new to this so any help would be appreciated!  Have a great day!

deek, Thanks for your service.  ;D ~flag If you would want to fish a small stocked pond for trout and some other types. I have a pond I built for my grandchildren to fish in when they are here. I have trout in it that are from 14 to about 20 inches. I normally don't allow fishing but for a brother I could possably make an exception. Catch and Release of course. I am 50 miles south of Coeur D'Alene. If you want to fish Coeur D'Alene then you might try Cougar Bay. There is beach fishing there and that is where the big pike (39lbs 12 oz.) came from. There is also some good Smallmouth fishing by the college right downtown if you get here in say May or June. Either way keep us posted and watch your six. catfish ~flag

deek20002001 sure never meant to over look this post for so long, sorry about that.

I'm stationed @ Barksdale AFB LA and don't know much about your neck of the woods, however should you need any help around here, please let us know.

Deek, Not sure how we missed your posting.  Seems like 2 months is a long time to wait for a response.  Hope all is well with you and you got to spend some quality time with the wife fishin.

If you need anything, I sure will try and be more responsive and I am sure others will too.
