A good, cheap, easy fix for a spinnberbait skirt that keeps wanting to slip off is using a small zip tie.  Just cinch it down, trim off the excess, and your good to go.

Good idea, I have been tieing mine on with thread but your way would be much faster on and off.

pay a couple grand to have braces and use the little rubber bands they give out. your way is much cheaper but if you have to have them take advantage of of the stuff they charge you for. doug

I prefer to use the same skirt and not change them, so I glue mine on.  It also allows me to slap off the moss and not lose skirts...  Keeps trailers on good too!!  I am to the point where I glue almost all of my plastics on my hooks because I can catch so many more fish with one bait.

Any bait I get with a skirt on it gets wired on. I use monel wire that won't rust or copper wire.

Where I work we have un-limited amounts of zip ties, I think I'll be giving your tip a try.  :-* :-*
