Ok guys iam looking to find how you guys go about designing your tournament shirts.  How do you pick were each sponsors logo or patch will go on the shirt?

Getting ready to have some made up and was just curious and looking for ideas.  I have a pretty good idea of were to put each logo iam just looking for insight.

The larger sponsors get the more visable spots on the shirt and larger spot is what i was thinking with everything else worked in on the shirt.  As well as some patch's will only fit or work in certian areas as well as how big an embroidery is going to be.

Biggest Payee gets biggest exposureeeee

Every other sponsors fits on the shirt by "how it fits".

Usually if there is a big patch or embroildery, it will go on the back of the shirt.  Smaller patches and embroildery can go on your collar.

my theory is to put all our division information on the back of the shirt.

large logos on the front, patchs on the sleeves, and embroidered company names on collar and empty spots.

I am not sure what shirt to go with as i want something light weight for summer right now i have purchased the gander mtn guide series tournament style shirt it is light weight has the breather flap on the back.  i have known guys that got the thick shirts and sweat there buts off in the summer.

i did see a sight that had tournament shirts for $35 bucks cant remember the site now and they were short sleeve also and nice for the price.

Are oyu looking for a colorful, pro-style tournament shirt, or just a guide type shirt that is plain kakhi or white?

Pick your shirts on how long you need them to last.  When it comes to yearly local sponsors, you don't need something that lasts forever since those sponsors could change each year.

You saw the pullover I had on at the Classic, that is the type for placing your major sponsors that most likely won't change year to year.  The pics are in my gallery if you can't remember what it looks like.  It worked out well in that I had at least one person ask about every sponsor I had on that shirt.  That particular shirt is a wind breaker and doesn't work well for hotter days.  I need to get another lined up that is cooler but figure on waiting till a sponsor has a good deal on one of their shirts.

It works out well for them in that they have their logo as the primary and all others added are smaller.  These dang shirts are just so expensive and then add other logos for at least $10 a pop and it's CHA-CHING time.  I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to spring for getting each of my sponsor's logos added to all of my shirts.  I guess I'll just have to request they pay for any embroidery.  I love each of my sponsors and feel I have made a friend every step along the way but it's getting expensive.  I'll be sure to have their decals everywhere I possibly can when supplied.

I have noticed over the years that not many sponsors like to use patches anymore.  They cost a lot and they have to order a large amount to get the cost down.  That sucks as the patches would be the optimum way to get their logo out there on tourney shirts.  Anyone can add a patch easily but sending a shirt out for weeks to get embroidery often gets them back into your hands barely in time for the next T or show.  Instant exposure and logo recognition can be had with patches.

I just got decals and a patch from Lure Tamer and they look absolutely awesome.  I'll be able to add that patch to my existing main sponsor shirt with no trouble.  I'll have to contact Marcus about getting at least one more for the hot weather shirt I plan to get soon.

Ya i remember your shirt at the classic that was sweet but man hot.  I think the one i am going to do will last a while and then after this year i will see where iam at and for those that come back in 2008 and i have a great relationship with i will go with a more durable and heavier shirt.

These are the same folks who do our Team Keelshield shirts.  They do a great job and have held up great.  We have had ours for about 3 years now and still look like new.  They only bad thing I can say about the shirts is that they get really hot during a day of fishing.  They do get noticed though.  Good looking shirt Doug.

They are bad to the bone, but the price gave me whiplash.
