Pitching
The act of pitching a lure into a pocket, under tree limbs or docks is
accomplished by placing the lure in your hand at about rod end length.
Then using the weight of the lure to pendulum itself to the desired
location. Pitching is most often used with a pegged texas rig and jigs but
can also be very productive with spinnerbaits. It allows you to achieve a
quiet presentation while managing to get very close to the cover.
