Hello everyone,
I am a new member as of today. I live in Kerrville, Texas and primarily fish the now notorious Lake Amistad. I've been fishing for most of my life and have owned many bass boats. Recently, I sold my 2000 skeeter 202 and am seriously considering purchasing a 2000 or 2001 model Nitro 911 CDC. I love the center console layout and design. However, I am not sold on the two smaller flank seats; is there any way to remove them? I was hoping I could remove the smaller flank seats and then just use the area for a step; after removing the seats I would like to cover the base with a no-skid type material. I have never owned a Nitro before and would appreciate any feedback (pro or con).
Thank you,
CJ

Great to have you here. I am sponsored by Nitro and used them for years. I love how wide the boats are it makes them very stable. If the seat are a problem for you, you should check out the new Z-9 it's the boat of the future. I would go with the new pro xs 250 and a hydraulic 10" jack plate. that boat will go 85 mph on Amistad. speaking of which, I have fish Amistad for the last 17 years. If you need any places on the lake to go, don't hesitate to drop a line my way. If you want a fast light boat with a big casting deck you should look into Legend Le-21 or their Alpha line LE-199 their awesome. later

Those seas will fold out to provide a stepping platform. I as well am sponsored by Nitro and I love their boats. Stability is the best feature. The 911 offers a ton of room for storage, casting and at the console. They also handle extremely well in all water conditions.

Im taking deliver of a custom 911 CDC in August (model year 07/08 has yet to be determined by Nitro).
