I am amazed that peacock bass record isn't higher than that.  I think if I lived in Florida I would be shooting for that one.  Those dudes get huge in the amazon!!  The world record is 27 lbs, caught on (go figure)  Luhr Jensen's "Peacock Bass Lure".

Randy's record smallie was on the big lake I do not know why it was not recorded in the record book I used?  :-\

A lot of people don't realize it but the line class records are actually more attainable i believe. For instance, there is no line class record for the 4 lb category for Largemouth in LA. I will be throwing some 4 lb test this year. Just like trout fishing back home lol.
