There are stripers in there, right?  Have you or do you know of anyone that has caught any?

BA

Springton Lake Res - but don't get caught!!   PoPo

Little Jon Boat

Long Arm Reservior in Hanover Pa......or Lake Marburg (both only 3miles from my house either direction)......the kids enjoy Marburg because we stop at the island and walk around a bit...and you can spend more time there (it's alot bigger then Long Arm)....but Long Arm isn't as crowded...even more so during the week....

I can't believe no one mentioned Kinzua yet.  I moved to NEPA and I fish Wallenpaupack all the time.....but you can't catch Northerns out here.  I miss Kinzua.  Headed back with the boat in tow in 2 weeks.
If fishing all weekend is wrong....I don't wanna be right

Favorite lake would have to be Erie, but as for smaller lakes pymatuning is number 1 in my book. Also love fishing the allegheny river for some big smallies!

upbhoop

So I made it back to Kinzua.  Lots of smallies using Trigger crawdads near the shore where the channel drops off close to the shore.  Stripers at night fall on live minnows under a bobber (6ft down) and silver rattle trap.  My buddy, as usual,  was getting smallies on the chartreuse and white spinner bait.  No big guys, but lots of fun.

Meadow Grounds Lake
Fulton co.
the lake is under 300 acres. If you havent fished it you probly never will, becuz they are going to drain it. no more lake and it suxs.. if you have fished it we should get somethin going to save it

Old blue

Lake Wilhelm is best for numbers and decent size.  Nockamixon is best for size.

Kahle lake is nice but they need to fix the ramps since they haven't fixed the leak at the spillway yet. Kayle lake is a nice lake if you don't mind fishing the weeds.

twitt733

Koon dam in Bedford county. Awesome little impoundment.

zippyduck

Hands down nothing compares to PIB in Erie.
But for hog largemouth it goes to Wilhelm.

after Erie which is in a class by itself, Lake Wilhelm has always been my best big bass lake. Keystone has some monster smallies.

Lake Galena!

There are no fish there - hehe

Galena is fun. (pulled a monster out of there ages ago. Cobb creek in lower bucks gets some decent one's (although, law enforcement frowns on night fishing there)

what I want to fish is Churchville....no fishing allowed....you just know what that means.

Thank you for the reply. Both of those are still a good hour plus from me, I live just outside of Philly. It seems as though that's the closest I'm going to get. I will just have to travel.

zippyduck

I wish I could help more but that is about a five hour drive for me. I have fished out there but only for bigger tourneys.
