While I do love fishing Alabama lakes (particularly Wilson Lake and Upper Bear), I think the Tombigbee River (Vienna, Cochrane, Gainesville) is my favorite!  There's just something special about it to me!!!   ~fff

My favorite fishery in Alabama by far is the Millers Ferry area on the Alabama River.  It is the only place I can go fish on the fourth of July and catch a limit very easily.

What about Weiss Lake? I'm going there March 18-22. Any ideas?
