Photo Contest help needed!

All right gang I got the OK to set up a photo contest for next month and would like to see what kind of photo you all would like to see posted in the gallery. Just remember we are a bass fishing site so if the subject matter was along them lines it would be better but its now up to you all! They could be of anything at all, as long as they are in good taste for a family site.

Also there was some of you that have ask for this so you better speak up or I'll pick the subject matter for this contest.

I would love to see wildlife photos.  We all get out there in the mix with nature and have great opportunities to snap pictures of beasties.

Thanks for the offer Silver, but the judges are the CD staff since we can not play it makes it fair!

As for your idea that is right along with Dug's so the two can be one and the same, I hope to see some of those northern light Photos entered in the contest. Dug you need to find a few of them wild life photo too, I want to see as many different areas of the states as possible.

I think we will limit it to under a dozen per person to start!    good question tho, you will need to wait till it starts and read the rules.

the kids thing doesn't work for me.  all mine are all grown up and my granddaughter is just 6 weeks old, so not quite old enough to be real outdoorsy yet.  It could be something like a "your natural world" title and would include fishin holes, sunsets, wild animals and aurora borealis.  It would also include whoever you would like to see in your nature...kids, nekkid ladies (well probably not), grandpas, farmers, whatever exits when you go to your favorite outdoors places....

I'm with sunsets, wildlife, or shots of your favorite fishing hole.  I don't have and there are no plans for kids in my future, so I think that topic limits a lot of us.

I like the nature idea for this one but definately having to do with water. The lake with a sunset is also a good idea.

Theme: photos with UB in them, natural world, lakes, nature, sunsets on lakes,  streams, kids, pets, and funniest catch. that about covers them all so far. as you see I got one in a PM, any one got anything to add to the list so far?

Well, I have to say that this is a site dedicated to bass fishing. So personally, I wouldn't care to see pictures of cars, cats, dogs etc. Just my 2 cents.

we tend to agree on that one marcoman but being fair and everyone is part of the family here, I just want to get a feeling of what everyone would like to see. As most of the replies are for nature type photos it most likely be in that range.

Some of the members live in the northern part of the states and can not bass fish to well right now, so we got to open up the theme a little too.

I think the nature theme would be best for this time of year too. The florida folks will be catchin beddin fish soon while the norfers will be chippin ice holes.  Sorry I didn't mean to rub it in.

Maybe instead of a funniest catch topic have an other species topic (for catfish, stripers, etc. etc,.)
