Quinnebaug River open on 12/17

Just found out that there's a Quinnebaug River tournament on sunday the 17th. There was one there last week that I also just found out about. As soon as I get some more information on it I'll post.

I'm thinking about it Chad. As you know,I need to work out trolling motor issues first, but we'll see.

Forgot about the trolling motor issues. Mayger you could try some duck tape.

I'm thinking about going too, course i'll have to refill the lower unit on the motor, as I have already winterized the motor. Hard to believe it will be in the 50's again this weekend!

I can tell you guys that it has been very comfortable here in SW Ohio the past few days, but we got quite a bit of rain today. That may be heading your way too. Nothing worse than rising water that is cold and muddy, if you know what I mean.

That's how it has felt here for the last 2 months. We've had a ton of rain this fall and the river has been cranking.

Dennis's dad is running the tourney tehre like he does ever year. 25 bucks including lunker 5 fish limit 1 or 2 guys in a boat. Might be there might not. Looks like I might be running to Virigina leaving at midnight Friday to pick up my X-mas present from my wife.

Is a new boat in the future? I know that would be the last place I'd break one in. Break being the key word. I think more lower units are lost ther than anywhere else in the state.

Miles very possible is. I ahve to make my decision by tommorrow. Dealer is only open till Saturday and then closed for 2 weeks. I had a hard decision between Legend and another Triton. Mike and the guys at Legend were great. My wife did some other leg work and got me a great deal on a 2006 Triton that was used at the classic.

Yes it is. I just feel kind of guilty because I really don't need a new boat but she knows how much I want one lol. Also daughter is getting into horse and riding pretty heavy and she wants one. Feel if I get a new boat I might take away from her. Its amazing never thought I have thsoe feelingslol. Before my daughter was born I wouldn't have even batted and eye about getting the new boat.
