Well, Enough surfing I guess it is my turn.
Hey Fisherboy, ironic you live in Pace Florida and my brother and I both graduated from Pace High School. lo
Anyway, my name is Preston Versaci, I am 47 years old and I was born and raised here in sunny S. Florida. Became a Police Officer at the rip old age of 19 years. Put in my 23 years of service. Most of my career was a motorcycle officer. I retired 5 years ago at 42 as a Motorcycle Sergeant. Best job in the whole world. Must have said "Press hard, 5 copies" about 20-30 thousand times.  ;PHO) I own a lien research company now and work out of the house about 1-2 hours a day and my sole client is the largest real estate and title company in the country. Throughout my life I have made many friends in the boating business and thus has allowed me many opportunities in the marine industry. In the 80's one of my best friends was the sales rep for Baja boats and we did the photo shoots every year for their catalog and got a boat every year for our work. Last year for the 2004 Merc catalog I did the new 3.0 liter photo shoot on Lake X in my Gambler and also Merc's video which aired first at the Bass Master Classic which helped me with Gambler quite a bit. Made some absolutely wonderful friends with Mercury and Mercury Racing. I test props for Merc Racing on Gamblers to dial in the perfect props for our set up. I have owned almost all the different bass boats and think they are all wonderful. In 2004 I had the new X series Triton which I was given a Team Boat. I have had 3 Gamblers since then and just absolutely love the Gamblers. I consider Nils and Bob from Gambler very good friends of mine and if I can be of assistance with anyone who needs help from the factory my door is always open.
Well, enough about me. Bottom line is I have plenty of time to fish, play golf and build some really nice Harley's. I will be finished a new one for myself in about 6 weeks and post some pics.
The guys who know me will tell you that if you have a problem and I can help, I will give you the  shirt off my back if you need it. No matter what! The welcome on this board from its members is tremendous. Hope to stay awhile.

I for one can't wait to see the photos of the Harleys! It is great to have someone on the site with some extensive boat experience.  I am sure that with the offer to help out you will get a lot of PM's and posts directed to you about boats and the like.

Thanks for sharing ungotz...

Wow!

Since I started this influx of people I guess I should semi-formally introduce myself. The name is Bill Johnson from Charleston, SC. I'm 47 and normally have a birthday every other month with these yahoos that followed me over here! I have a beautiful family that really sticks together!. Wife and I are both Retired Navy (yes she did 20 also) and we have four grown up kids and 3 grandchildren. We both now work as Contractors for the Navy to supplement my bad fishing habit. I have but one passion in my life besides my family and friends and that's FISHING! Every waking moment that I'm not focused on family I'm thinking about Bass. I have no desire to fish the big Pro series events, just love to get out there and be competitive with friends. I have been given the great honor of helping some very close friends with their business. It's a company called Keelshield. You'll never meet two better people than the owners!  I currently drive a very unique "wrapped" 2005 Triton TR-21X with 225 Opti as the pic shows. Looking forward to becoming more involved in this great site.

Guess it's my turn now.

My name is Jeff Banko.  I am 34 years old and have been fishing for 30 of those.  Was lucky to have a father who passed on his love of the water to me.  I live in Chesterfield, Va., just outside of Richmond.  I have two kids, a 3.5 year old daughter and a 10 month old son, and a very understanding wife who is understanding of my addiction to this sport.  Also I run my own website that is just for Virginia fishing info.  It is FISHINGVA.COM.

This bike I finished about 2 months ago for my girlfriend. It started out as a 2005 Harley Fat Boy and ended up a nice pro street.

Don't know what happened the first time I posted this.

HillBillyBassR, it's good to see you. ~shade You can't even fool anybody. ;)

I guess I'll ante up, though it may bore you to tears. I'm 41, married to a beautiful wife, Katie. We have no children of our own at this point, but her parents have both passed so we are raising her little brother, Luke, who is 14 now. I say Little, heck, he's nearly 6 feet high, and at about 185...but I can still take him! lo I started bass fishing when Iwas about 18, fished with a couple of clubs off and on, and fish a few tournaments with friends or for charities. Our boat is a 2003 Blazer 210 w/ a Yamaha 250, just a good boat that has given us alot of fun for the last couple of years. Although for the last couple of months I haven't had much time to use it. I am a musician, I travel alot from time to time, and this year has been a busy one. I've decided to get back into competition as well, after a 7 year hiatus; when I backed off before I was the 1997 National flatpicking guitar champion and the 1998 Intenational champ, so I got lucky a time or two. I've got a few cd's, a couple of books and dvd's with MelBay instructional materials, and headed back to the studio in March to record my next cd. Just finished recording a cd with BarryLee Harwood, formerly of the Rossington-Collins band for you southern rock fans. It isn't out yet though. I travel giving concerts and workshops for my sponsors.I'm working on my website, should be up very soon. I love what I do alot, about as much as fishing, and thank God for the gifts in my life. Which happens to include alot of friends that are here as well.

Has Bobby Bowden been in contact with Luke yet?????

That's one big ole boy :shocking:

Allen Shadd

AXL, that's funny. We live about 30 miles from Gainesville, and Luke's dad was a huge Seminole fan. Luke hasn't had alot of interest in sports, yet, but is partial to the 'noles since his dad was. Ya never know, we encourage him all we can. He is a big ol' boy though, wearing a 12 1/2 shoe already. He's a good kid though, his sister and I are real proud of him, he's been through alot but has character enough to not just give up.

spetro

Yep he's a good kid and very polite.  I remember his mannerisms at toho last year  :) :) :)

Hi everyone. I'm new here and looking forward to spend my non-fishing days here.......
