Glad to have you join us here, Don.  I would recommend checking out the ridges and humps that are close to shallow areas on this new fishing hole.  The bass are going to be looking to feed heavily soon if they aren't already.

Looking forward to your ongoing reports in the NC Bass Fishing Reports section to see how you do.  Hopefully with you posting your reports you will generate some replies that will help get you zeroed in on those bass.  I believe you are going to find this site has a great wealth of knowledge from helpful members.

pookie,

Welcome to the site, there is a wealth of fishing knowledge here to draw from.

I live in Gainesville and if you ever come to visit your Sister give me a yell and I can point you to some of the local boat Ramps.

May all your Limits be LUNKERS

Laura,
I am ewest64, I am from Kentucky. I live close
to Lake Cumberland, I don't know if you have heard
of it but it is a large man made lake. 1200 miles of
shore line. I like to bass fish of night time, also crappie,
bluegill and striper. You might say I like to catch anything
that will bite my line. I am 41, have 2 children both girls
been married for 20 years. I am a youth pastor.

thanks for listening

Hello all. First off, my real name is Roberto, but everyone calls me Rob. I am 24 years old, and have two children. I work hard for a living, doing fire/water damage clean-ups for a restoration company. I'm new to bass fishing, and trying to get better. I usually go fishing once a week on Sunday mornings. Its a nice way to end one week, and start another. Even if I don't catch anything, it's nice to get out on the boat, and get some fresh air. You guys have a pretty great site here, and I'm looking forward to being a part or your community.

Mike Noble

Welcome Rob and thanks for sharing some information about yourself.  There is plenty of reading material here.  Keep us posted on your fishing trips.

scwildbills mom

There's not too much to tell, but if you'll give me 8 or 9 hours I might be able to give you a short biography! lo

Originally from Rhode Island.  Stayed here in SC after hubby retired from the US Navy.  We have 4 children...SCWild Bill being the oldest (and I mean oldest!), Gary, Mark and SCWild Sis (Colleen); 16 grandchildren (I won't name them all...heck who can remember them all!) and 4 great grandchildren.

So, as you can see I'm probably the oldest new member!

Mike Noble

Thanks for sharing that information Mom.  Sounds like you have one great family going on there.  I'm not sure about the oldest...we have some OLD ones here.  lo
