Welcome again Billy and thanks for sharing with us. Hope you do get in more fishing this year.

Fishaholic

You'll like fishing in Indiana...lot of good cats for you, lot of good bass, gills, walleyes and pike for me...and in the Fall if you're up for it, we can go for some big chinooks, or later yet go for the lakers...July is skammania time in Indiana too! ;D

Lipripper

Fishaholic eye'm game for anything  lo  now do you fish the streams for them steelheads or the big watters. joda911 and eye hit the St. Joes in Mich. for them and Walleye. but will have to hook up with ya for some fishing in Indiana this year for sure  ~c~ ~c~ ol joda's always up for a new fishing hole  lo lo and eye see the counter is going up and up  ~c~ ~c~

Got a nice little steelhead stream 1 mile from my home, all ya need is some hip waders and a box of small spinners (rooster tails, or panther martins), an ultralite rod or a light medium rod and some spinning gear...if you prefer bait fishing, some tiny split shot, thill floats, egg hooks in fluorescent colors and a container of nightcrawlers and you're all set - with a bait rig you can work the drifts...I've got some nifty river rigs that would be dynomite on the St. Joe...only been on the St. Joe once...hooked into a nice steelie there, but after 20 minutes my 2lb. test line finally gave out.

Lipripper

2lb line  Fishaholic ya must have been in a playful mood that day  lo lo and we will for sure have to get together for some fishing this year  ~c~ ~c~ and we don't live that far from each other either  ~c~ ~c~

Yep...I fish 2 and 4 lb. test line frequently...it's more of a challenge....so far, a 30 pound chinook on 4 lb. test line is my best, and a 17.5" white crappie on 2 lb. test is my best there.

Lipripper

~c~ ~c~ ~c~ now that sounds like fun  ~c~ ~c~ and way to go  and it's all in how ya play them  ;D as you well know  8)

We have a couple members from up your way, I realize it is a big place. Both of them on in the Air Force. We don't see a whole lot of them because of the time difference but Yellow Puma comes around fairly often. Watch for him, he is addicted to the fishing as well, his passion is salmon, must be something in the water  :roll2: Glad to have you aboard and look forward to posting with you. Where do you go to get your largemouth fix at :-*

My folks live in Western NY, so that is where I gets my bass fix and walleye fix, when I visit them. Make them go out on the water with me, they know I need to fish when I visit, so they do not mind, my ma fishes too. It is in the water up here, SARS that is, Salmon Are Rapidly Striking, it is a rough disease, but the only cure is too  ~cf

bucketmouth

Well, Im bucketmouth and I'm addicted to bass fishing. I hail from Ontario Canada, where you can find the best bass fishing this side of the border.  I fish mainly the Ottawa river and surrounding lakes and rivers.  Looking forward to getting down to the southern states someday to hook into some behemoth largies.... ahh, to dream.
