Hi all,

My name is Joe Malik from Marlton New Jersey (South Jersey).  I found out about this site from Lauri (mother nature) and I'm so glad I did! this is great.  I have been fishing all my life starting with my father and now I'm mentoring my 5 year old son.  I have a 2003 16 foot Lowe with a 40 horse Yamaha I bought it last year for my son and I. The fishing here is weather permitting especially with all the snow and limited places to fish but I can't wait to get out there again this year.  Well  I look forward to chatting with everyone and I'm glad I was introduced to this site.

Thanks
Joeboy

Mike Noble

Welcome joeboy.  Glad you found the site and thanks for the info.  If you have any questions, just ask.  I hope you find plenty of useful information here and we look forward to reading about your fishing.

fish cobra again

:) hey folks!! It's good to be back on the forum. I guess it's been almost a year since I've been to the site. Lot's of things happened and I just wasn't able to stay in touch. I forgot my password and the sign in said my username was not good. So I am a new member now...(at my age being new at anything is goooood). The site looks great Laurie...it's as good or better than any on the internet. I haven't had a chance to look around but I will as soon as I finish this. My name is Ron Flowers and I reside in Arlington, Tx., but I do have in laws in Bossier!!! So be nice. I am no longer in a bass club but am considering getting back in one. I am self employed now, building custom, aluminum storefront doors.(Pray for me!) It's a big step and I'm scared to death. (I think I'll go fishing) Drop me a line sometimes and if your coming this way let me know and maybe I can let you know how the fishing is.   RIP SOME LIPS!

fish cobra again

Thanks Mike,
I'm glad you remembered! It means a lot! I've really missed you guys (you too Laurie) and am thrilled to be back on board. I can't wait to get back into the swing of things. Yes, you're all grown up now but not too big to have forgotten my situation in the past. WOW How do you do it? You still know what's important....the people that make this site happen. I guess that's why I'm here. Thanks Again!

PS - What happened to the Cobra??????

Mike Cork

Thanks for the Kudos about the site, but that is what we enjoy most is the folks that visit. The fishing information exchange is just a bonus ;) Unfortunately with the site getting so big and we have several clubs on board now, we just can't keep up with it all as much as we would like. But folks like you are what helped us get this site off the ground and couldn't hardly forget you  ~c~ Thanks ~c~

I still have the Cobra, but it has had a rebuild on the lower unit and then a replacement of the lower unit. Two in one year, yep thats about right ~c~ Man I gotta learn how to drive :roll2:

You gotta becareful running your own business, the seem to take up a lot of time and fishing gets back burnered a lot 8) So make sure you at least take one day off a week and get on the water, it does wonders for the mind ~c~

::) Now why would anyone think I owned a Cobra??? I actually started using that name to impress the owners enough to get me a shot at showing some of their boats down here in Texas.....it didn't work. My brother did get a 201DC demo. Lucky stiff. Seriously, I'm happy for him. He was the mold foreman for Champion for 10 yrs and got nothing...he deserved it. I own a 17ft. '86 Hydro Sport. ~shhh
Oh, by the way....one of the guys from the club I was in called me today and asked me to go fish a tournament with him at Purtis Creek. That's where I got my biggest at two years ago. Can't wait ~c~ ~c~

Way cool, make sure you give us a fishing report in the reports section  ~c~ The big fish are starting to move up all over the place, so if you hit one of those hawgs make sure you get a pic for the site as well. You know you got your own gallery that needs some filling :-*

My name is Bill and I'm from Northwest Indiana.  I work as a full time photographer for a Chicago newspaper and on the side for a few hunting related companies as a photographer, writer, and prostaffer.

Been married for 14 years to a wonderful woman and have a 13 year old son.

I used to fish a lot on Lake Michigan for salmon and trout and entered a few tournaments each year.  Did well in some, not so well in others.  I briefly tried bass tourneys and didn't fair too well.  I haven't fished a whole lot in the last couple of years but regularly ice fish near home and do get out to a farm pond now and again.

Hoping to get back to angering the wife with too many trips out on the water.

Mike Cork

Welcome aboard billkay we would love to hear about your fishing adventures, but don't get into to much trouble  >:D Take a look around I am sure you will find a conversation or two to get involved in. We love hearing everyones thoughts and ideas especailly if they difer from ours, that way we can learn something new. Anyway make yourself at home and we look forward to posting with you.
