Actually we would love to have you and your buds active in a thread or two. But if you would like I can talk to Mother Nature and I bet she would set something up for you. What do you think? Would enough of your buds enjoy this site if it had something set up for Aussie folks?

Probably not Mike, I wouldn't do anything special mate.  We're got a copious amount of forums down this way and I think most of my mates struggle to get just to them lo

Any more and it would cut down on our fishing time and we can't have that can we :roll2:

Up to you though champ.  Let me know as I scrounged a couple of photo's up for ya.  If I start a new thread, your moderaters should be able to move it to another spot if you got enough interest???  How does that sound???
I love a full bag...................  but I love emptying it better

Mike Cork

Give it a shot lets see what happens :-* Start a new thread in the Dock Talk section I am sure a lot of our folks would love to discuss fishing with you.

It will be nice to hear about the fishing in Australia.  It is always a pleasure to have anglers from other countries on the U.S. fishing sites.  There's a Gilley from Scotland on another site that is a real pleasure to talk with.

Well folks, it's been fun today but I need to hit the pillow.  I have an opening shift in the morning so it's lights out.

My name is Greg and I am from Jefferson, TX.  Caddo and Lake o' the Pines are about 13 miles away.  Also live a mile from Big Cypress Bayou.  I fished alot 15 years ago but started coaching and have just gotten back into swing of things here lately when I got out of it. I love to fish for bass, catfish, and Crappie.  Just starting to rebuild my fishing arsenal again.  The posts about equipment are helpful.  I paticularly enjoy the Reports and Technique posts.

Greg, welcome to the site! Glad you are finding some useful information. Lake O The Pines looks like it is a great lake to fish. We fished it for the first time a few weeks back on a Carppie trip and I can't wait to try it for bass....

Since we moved to Louisiana we don't get to fish for Smallies so it will be interesting to hear some stories from up your way ;) I love the way they fight!!! Welcome to Ultimate Bass!
