it won't be filled with Cabin fever... I am taking the kids to the Dr for Strep throat cultures.    sigh. 

We did my birthday last night. 
David got me some nice things...   

fishing reel oil, 2 fishing rod tip repair kits,
a fishing rod holder set up to hold six set ups for the camper,
a NICE, quilted, fishing raincoat. 
A bag of Funions  (Onion rings) and
an ironing board cover.. which I have been "pressing" about... heheh.

SIS and many more to come  now blow out the candles and pass me a piece of CAKE  Eye want an end piece please

WOW it's FISHERMOM's BIRTHDAY. Tell your hubby you are taking the day off and going fishing. If the weather isn't right then go shopping for fishing gear. Let hubby have the kids for the day and go enjoy yourself.

ahhh Rattle... maybe in a perfect world I could do that.

unfortunately both monsters are home with sore, red, throats
and going to the Dr. for strep cultures... last time Celeste had strep,
she only had no symptoms.

and tonight David and I have a 1.5 hr. manditory meeting at Shauna's school. 

I will do LOTS of fishing this summer to make up for lost time... don't you worry!

well, I am here at the computer and the contest is over.

no beer tonight for me.. it is way too cold for me to go to the garage.
I froze my but iff putting 15$ worth of gas in my truck tonight.
Tonight is the coldest night that I have had to endure yet this year!
Bone chilling and windy as all get out!

Well......... Celeste has strep throat    at least Shauna doesn't.

Not sure if everyone knew that dad was real sick the first week of March.
the beginings of Congestive heart failure sent him to the hospital, but he is ok now.

Wow FisherMom, what a night you have been having. Good to hear your dad is doing better and sorry to hear about the strep throat, becareful that stuff has a way of working around the household

Well other than all the rough stuff I hope the rest of your B-Day went well. Coldest night all year and it is in March. Man maybe we need to turn the big fan on and point it your way, but with temps like that I don't know if it would make it your way. Oh and it is never to cold to get a beer

You have to use the front door and walk to the back to get into the garage....

The beer MIGHT be frozen by the time ou reach the front door again though....

your tongue on an ice tray!

I opted for a hot bowl of homemade turkey soup that my mom brought to me today!

By the time this southern boy drove up there the cold wouldn't be the problem, it would take me till July to get there and I wouldn't be able to make it from the garage to the house with out drinking it  The soup sounds like a good idea too
