I figure I will be posting snow pictures to share with my SOUTHERN pals...
so I am starting a thread on this. I took some more pictures today and as soon as I get them on my website, I will share them. We didn't even get half an inch, but it sure is pretty. And I love the quietness that comes with a fresh snowfall!

OK.. here comes round one!!! (these are from this am)

Lot of the fluffy snow has already melted, so I took what I can.
The impressive falls are when it is windless outside and very fluffy.
I am sure I can share some soon.

I might dig through some scenery pics I took last year.

just so you know... I have a Sony Mavica FD200. You can use a memory stick or a floppy disk. Now they make them where you can use a CD instead of a floppy disk.
Last year, for my birthday, my parents gave me a memory stick! That is pure heaven. I can fit about 300 high resolution pictures on it!

bad thing about 300 pictures, is disciplining yourself to remove them once in a while!

lately my stick is full! Well.. until today! I saved a bunch finally.

woke up to more snow. that was 5 hours ago... and it is still there.....
sooner or later, it's gonna come to stay.... this MIGHT be it, but I doubt it.

here's a little peek...
When we get a real good coating, I will add more scenic pictures...

this is the lilac bush.... and that sky is decieving!

FisherMom, I think that we are getting what is left over from you later today. We have had one good coating of 4 inches all ready and it really does look nice after it falls but not so nice when it is time to clean it up.

Okay...why would I want to do that. I don't like snow...its cold...and its COLD.

But we have gotten it...I would prefer it NEVER snow here again, and here are a few pictures of January 1, 2001. The Independence Bowl was played on New Years Eve...December 31, 2000...and it snowed like crazy. These are pictures at my house on New Years Day.

The lake (its about 200 yards from my house) pictures shows you could "ice" fish...I didn't.
