I didnt think there was a Cypress map.

I have never found one but they Navtronic Chip for Lowrance GPS has it on there with good depth detail. Soooo, the work has been done but I have never seen it in paper format.

Here is a small map in PDF format...it can be enlarged and maybe printed..just gives a little idea of debth, etc..

Don't think there is a regular lake map of Cross, Cypress, etc., on the market that I have found..

Thank ya Scottie! That will be good enough, at least I have some idea of the shape of the lake. I just found out Fri that my company wants to try to have a bass tourney for fun out there next Sunday :o :o :o!!! Kinda short notice for me as I have never fished there before. I am going to try to run out there this afternoon and drive it out and see what things look like and go try it tomm morning and then the Sat morning before the tourney,, after that I will just have to hope for the best on the day of. Good thing there is no slot on Cypress. Just glancing at the map seems the North end past 162 bridge my hold some cover and would be outta the way of boat traffic. And alot of good points on the SE side of the lake close to the dam with deeper water near.
If anybody has any tips for me I accept PM's lol.
Thnx guys

Getting to the north end up by the bridge is shallow!  If you don't know the creek channel be-careful

You can run about 500 or 600 yards past the no ski markers without issue, but after that set it down until you learn the lake.  Past the bridge there are stumps and pads and grass oh boy!  :)

Most folk flip/pitch docks on main lake and some work no nothing bank lines with spinners.  The grass flats on the way to the bridge can be very good at times.  Good luck to you and please let us know how you guy all did!

Just came off Cypress from last Sunday thru Wednesday...rented a cabin with my wife and daughter...I'll also say I was impressed with the facilitess.. ~c~

I spend part of one morning on the north end and didn't go back...Very thick with the pads that have also been sprayed and are in decay.....others may be OK there but just think that takes oxigen from the water and the fish leave..

My best areas...especially at night...was straight across from the park launch..there is a point there and a few boat houses past that..then to the right of that point were more boat houses through a very large cove (not the stumpy one) and then folowing that bankline south there was another point and on around that in front of the "dang"..... Most of the points were good expecially for a caralina rig...

But my best bite was at night with a black/blue "Midnight Special" spinner.. :)

Make sure you and others have a boat/trailer sticker...similar to Cross Lake..I got mine at the main park office going in..

Thnx for the warning of stumps!!!  :-* I will sure be careful if I make it up that way. With all that cover sounds like a good place to find some bass but who knows,, if they were there Scottie should have found em.
I am mostly going today just to get the stickers and ride around. I will graph some of the points and see how they look might chunk my cranks and c rigs if I see something I like, then GPS it. I will let yall know how things go. Maybe I can come back with some usefull info.  ;D
