How did that go so soon??  Warranty?

super ron

Boat and Motor is 4 years old.  Bought it used so no warranty.  The starter actually froze up at Manawa one day.  I was told to put some WD-40 on the bendix.  That did the trick but didn't last long.  Today it the teeth would go back down.  Pulled the cover off and couldn't even turn the shaft with a pair of pliers..

Oh well, at least I didn't have to get towed back.

I presume you are referring to Iowa-size keepers in WC.  True NE keepers in there are as rare [in WC] as a genuine statement from Skipper or a kind word from Jav...

AND, since you were busy (that thing has a Merc on it, right?) fussin', who caught more, you or the son?

a kind word from me?  What do you expect with all them tent peg comments?  It does happen.
I see we woke up on the wrong side of bed again.

I am betting the kid 3-1

You guys are killing me. "Who caught more Fish?  I bet the kid 3 to 1. "  No confidence in  ~SM Ron.  What's up with that?

It was actually 2 to 1.  His 6 to my 3.  And we were talking Iowa keepers, which neither of us caught.  I could have probably caught as many as my boy if not more but (here comes the excuse), all he would throw was a senko and I refused to throw one.

You guys have no faith.  His streak will come to an end and I will be kicking his butt again.

You need to adopt the time honored tradition of front-ending...  keep his butt out in "dirtywater" and you will have to outfish him.

If you don't know this technique, I can point you to some folks I know...

If I try to keep him in dirty water, he will walk up to the front deck and cast in front of me.  He does it all the time.  I will see a isolated stump or something and get ready to cast to it and splash, his lure has flown past my ear and landed beside the stump.  It's almost like hitting on a girl and your friend  ^-^ock blocks you.

I wonder who that could be.  Surely not the tent pegs.

Guilty guilty guilty...  No names were mentioned, but you chimed right in.  No wonder DM didn't get any fish at Man-o-wa...you had him in dirty water all day.

Not at all.  Lil feller (DM) had his chance at some fish, he just didn't connect.

I just figured you were talking about 1 of the tent pegs.

Bassthumb

oh, you must be referring to the old tent peg..
