I googled "cross lake fishing reports" and it one of the top links was a post in the forums. I noticed it was 2003, LOL! But I decided to search the site and found it to be very informative and I love the local section!

It's funny, i decided that magazines and literature wasn't enough information for my brain. Then i realized i spend a lot of time at work (not working) and learning fishing tips and tricks. After following several different forums such as Bass Buzz and another local one called Bass Fishing Reports for Indiana, i found that this forum inparticular just had a fantastic amount of information. Another attribute i found is that there wasn't a lot of arguing going on in general. That is happening on other forums that aren't monitored so well. Bottom line, when i wake up, i drink my coffee and look at new posts, before i go to bed, i check my posts and see what responses i have, and everything in between is food for thought as i progress. Thanks for putting together such a great site of valuable information.

Just received my new copy of "Smart Computing" magazine and

and behold there was an article all about online fishing communities. They had a very nice write up about Ultimate Bass so I figured I'd join up cause I love to fish for both smallies and largemouth.

BassResource.com angered me today. Apparently you need to kiss up to a lot of people and make a lot of posts. If not, they jump your stuff. So I googled Bass fishing forum and found this one.

Take a deep breath and sit back cause you have a lot of reading to do

no really there are a ton of great folks here and they are for the most part pretty mellow. If anyone gets out of line we have a few big guys that take care of them and they don't mess around...
