Fished Cypress from 6 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. yesterday with Mr. Cork.  Boated 13 or 14 and probably 10 or 11 of those would have weighed...biggest running about 3 pounds.  Caught fish on spinnerbaits, pop-r, and plastic.  Only good pattern was to cover water.  Water temps ranged from 86 to 89.

Lots of party barges on the water after dark...and some of them were have a fun time.  lo

Thanks, I tried to locate your little honey hole on Thursday, but I had no luck.  With it being so hot I figured that it would be a great spot.

Railroader

Any help would be great. Have not fished in several months due to work. Gonna get to go to Cypress this weekend and could use some info. I know somebody can help a brother out!!!!!!!!

Mike Noble

All I can suggest is topwater early and cover a lot of water.  After the sun comes up...soft plastic on docks.  Good luck.

I am so not an expert on Cypress but:::: If you hit the piers hard with a crankbait and a worm, jig you should do OK.

Just watch out for all the recreational boaters on that lake.  I took the kids camping out there last weekend and that lake was hopping with people.

I have to get up in the coves to get away from all the jet skiers and tubers.
