Put the Xpress in the water at 8 and out at 3 today with my buddy John in the boat again as we tried to make up for our total failure last week at Millers Ferry in Al. We managed to put over a dozen keepers in the boat with most on Zoom UV speed worm and craw but I did manage to catch 4 late in the day on a War Eagle finesse spinner. Fish were relating to grass in 3 to 6 foot for the most part today and bit most of the day. Fog early then clear skies, air temp 52-75, water temps 60-63, visibility was maybe 1' with most areas stained to muddy partly due to the 1.3 inches of rain Monday, tide was dead low and rose slowly all day. Fun day with my long time fishing partner who is still about a month away from getting his new Xpress X 19.
Retired and loving every minute of it!
