Does it ever bother anyone else that just about EVERY fishing company shirt is long sleeve? Everytime I find one I like, It's not a short sleeve. This is S FL, it's too hot for long sleeves.

I say this as a very mild annoyance/ribbing. I found one I liked from the local company that I've been trying their baits. I jokingly said something to the store guys. So they sent me one in short sleeve a few days later.

Nope. I like the long sleeves.  Not a fan of the fisherman's tan lines.

I can never find a short sleeve fishing shirts. Do they have any loose fishing shirts?
A bad day fishing is better then a good day at work. Take a kid fishing

Just did a quick search. Plenty of short sleeve fishing shirts. Aftco, bass pro shops, and others.

*I should have clarified a little..

I was meaning more aling the lines of smaller companies, not big, commercialized ones like BPS, Columbia, HUK, Pelagic, etc...

I guess maybe it's more along the lines of the long sleeves being cheaper and more readily available than short sleeves, for these smaller companies. I'm someone who tries to buy atleast something from
Smaller or local companies, just to help a little.

Do an internet search most not all have some sort of apparel. Example Kistler Rods, Cashion, Topwater Co.

i like a small company called Coolibar.  they seem to cater to other sports besides fishing.  i bought swim tights from them and the quality has been excellent.  i wear swim tights under my shorts to keep my legs covered and myself relativley cool.  they dry so fast, i dont mind jumping in on occasion.  do i look like a dork?  debatable.  i think cancer free lesions on the skin is the greatest look.  besides, i already have a wife.

they make sick short sleeved polo-type shirts that are sun protection.

i have a few short sleeves i wear traveling.  all made by Simms.  arguably the best looking fishing shirts ever.  i can step off my kayak and go get a decent dinner somewhere, except i'm wearing tights under my shorts.  :D
