first 2025 visit to the BASS FACTORY. CLEARLAKE.

it was tough!!  i pulled up to the launch and it was like someone called a town meeting.  there were 50+ kayakers setting up for a tournament. 

i hung back and let them go, and eased out into calmness after they left.

it took awhile but i finally got bite that gave us a clue.  we kept at it and we were told we would have won that tourny..well, my friend would have with his 5.5lb.  we both got 4 fish each his besting my 4.5.  it was a blast.  we fish around guys skunking.  i think i know why. 

i love that lake.  it was so full, the water was going into campsites and the surrounding forest.  you'd have to hike for bedded bass this year if that i your thing.  it is dang near flooded.
