Where's Everybody At?  lo  I know I'm a broken record. Anyways, for those of you that check in from time, just wanted to give you guys an Everglades fishing update.

The Glades is fishing really well. Some areas are ridiculous with boat traffic, but fortunately I have different areas that fish away from the crowds.

Water is coming down nicely. The cold fronts over the last couple of weeks changed the bite a little, but if you time your days right, catch rates can go into the 3 figures.

Pea's are starting to show themselves here and there, but once the warm up trend sets in, I'm sure that fishing will be NUTS!!

I have moved my fishing reports over to my website @BassinWithCaptLou.com Just wanted to drop by give you guys the fishing update.

Be well!  ~beer~

Thanks for the update. The peas have been hitting hard up here in Ida and Osbourne. Anything that looks like a shiner or shad, especially lipless cranks or wakebaits.

I hit up Holiday park yesterday afternoon from 4-8 and the fishing was great.  didn't get anything bigger than 4lbs to play but a bunch of quality fish the whole time.  Water is really low gators, topwater bite is on.

Nice largemouth are chewing in the Glades! I had a productive week with several beauties caught including this 7lb 10oz slob!

Was a decent Sunday out on Osbourne. I got 2 Mike Bucca baby Bull Gill baits in my monthly shipment of lures, so trued those out. Didn't expect the amount of hits I got, but it was a good day.

As for the "tin can", I currently have it in "surgery" again. Framing out a middle floor and front deck. Need to get a foot controlled troller for the front of it now.

Here's another fishing update folks. Apologies for not being around much. My guide trip volume has increased a tick and its keeping me busy thank goodness. But as far as the fishing goes, the bite has been phenomenal!  :o Water levels are low. Some ramps are becoming challenging and dangerous to launch from. Careful with your lower units approaching some ramps. Due to power loading, humps have formed as you approach the ramp. So be careful! Also be very careful turning corners, the points are becoming really shallow, and you will hit bottom if you cut it too close!
The fishing for the rest of April should be unbelievable!

The bite has been on fire lately in the Boynton chain of lakes. So I'll be out on the water again this Saturday. Let's get it!
