The day started out at 32 degrees but the last week has been in the teens at night and low 30's during the day with a north wind 20 mph or better. Our lakes rarely freeze, however it was very weird to see water that had splashed up on the south banks from the north wind and had froze for at least 4 feet up the bank. For me, I quickly moved to the north side of the lake, we've had 2 days above freezing and the ice was still there? That told me no fishy bity... I didn't boat a fish until 11 AM and filled a limit at 2 PM. I did end up culling a couple times. Everything came on a beaver flipped to shallow docks. Water temp was 39 at launch but warmed to 50 on the north non windy banks by weigh in. The west end is still very cold and muddy. Just proud I could find a couple keepers, while today wasn't bad, it's been brutal and these green fish don't like water under 40 LOL

Those are excellent bags for Cross, especially with the weather we had last week.
