How's every one doing? Besides our usual cast of few remaining characters, how's the fishing been for everyone?

I have been out a several times over the last couple of weeks, especially now that my new trolling motor is up and running.

The water has been cold, but fortunately starting to warm up to the upper 60's. Water levels are coming down to normal levels for this time of year.

Peacocks are non-existent in the glades right now, but anglers are finding them in the urban canal systems.

Largemouth are out and about, their moods lately have been hit or miss. Love is in the air. Significant pre-spawning activity going on. Next full moon should really set them off!

Good luck out there! To read my latest Everglades fishing reports head over my website!

Hey guys, fishing has been slow in the Glades. Did a couple trips in past few weeks but nothing to brag about! Mostly small but all large mouth. Now that our Florida weather is back things should get better. Did a Lake O trip few weeks back and fished hard and had no bites!

i was in the glades today for a short bit. lots of bass but nothing size yet.  the water is coming down and the flats should be on fire right now.

Went out to Sawgrass last Friday and only caught 14 LM . Biggest went for 3lbs. Mostly caught on a variety of soft plastics.

Went back out to Holiday park yesterday and caught a ton of dinks on topwater.  None of the big girls were out playing for me yesterday, but the water levels are coming down pretty fast.

Lou its almost spook time!!

Been breaking in all of my new Ark Rods. A while ago I needed to replace a rod with another Powell and it's getting harder to find the size and actions that are in my price range for Powell Rods.

I was really impressed with Ark Rods when I had the chance to get my hands on various models at ICAST. As a bonus, the company is in Florida and I always like to support Florida companies.

Slowly over the last 6 months I sold off my old rods and replaced them with Ark Rods. I've been really impressed. Sensitivity is excellent and actually more sensitive than my Powell Rods were at a higher price point and they are very light. Fit and finish is excellent too.

I was able to get most of them on sale or with a first responder/military discount which is much appreciated.

Finally retired from the military, but haven't had a lot of time to fish lately. Hoping to get out next weekend.  :)

Might as well keep this thread going. Smh.

Fished the alley a couple of days ago. Conditions are shaping up. Water is finally warming up and coming down. This full moon should really get them fired up!

Was WINDY as Hades today, but was still better than staying home.I never had much luck on rattle-traps, but today gave one a shot and worked really well. Nothing "trophy size", but still fun. This was the average size of fish today.
