I took a friend out today. Looking for his 1st bass!

He was in a fishing tube.  To satisfy anyone's curiosity;  towing a fishing tube across a lake with a kayak is NOT SMART and not that fun. It renders your rudder useless. I had to use my paddle to steer.  Never again.  Okay.

He got a 3lb fish, and was happy as heck.  Water was super hot and o was the air.  Fishing was slow. We stayed at it until our water started running low. I was juicy and rank. I kept casting. 

And then. TICK!  It fought like a small fish for a few seconds. Then the line got tighter, and eventually my drag screamed. Hahaha. Fun. It was my turn.
