Watching the forecast for the upcoming week. Doesn't look good.

From a fishing perspective, my mind's wheelhouse is spinning. The Glades right now is over saturated with water, I know this has been a hot topic of mine since May! But this upcoming rain event might put us over the top, with some of the highest water levels we have seen in a very long time!

Fishing strategies:

Bass. Looks like its going to have to be flats fishing for a while. That's ok, but the vast amount of acreage is huge, they can be anywhere!

Peacocks. I had the bite pretty dialed on my last few outings. Ramp availability will be the biggest challenge I believe.

One can hope. Let's be honest, I'm probably the youngest amongst us, and if it gets too hot for me sometimes, I can only imagine the toll it takes on our older members.

Esteban just sent me footage of a tornado touchdown in the Glades off the alley. Crazy!! Be safe gang! Our brethren in Central FL are in for nasty storm. We also have to stay vigilant of these feeder bands in South FL.
