Conditions:
Water temps: 86-89
Clarity: Clear
Outside temps: 90's + high humidity
Skies: Sunny
Wind: I wish
Water levels: Extremely high
Fishing time: 7am-1245pm
Peacock caught: 101 (not a misprint)
Top 5: 18lbs 3oz

All I can say about today's outing is Wow!!

Made a solo trip to the Glades. Arrived at 0 dark thirty. Surprisingly, there were 2 boats at the ramp waiting for the sun rise. I wasted no time and launched and ran in the dark! Lol!

I picked up where Ralph and I left off on Monday. To my surprise, the Peacocks were non-existent. What!? Where did they go??

I fished for close to 2 hours with ZERO bites. ZERO!

I changed strategies and moved locations. On my first cast in the new area, I caught a 3lb peacock. Yesss!!

Next cast, I connected again. Then again, on the very next cast.

The peacock were schooled up like Oscars!!

I worked a 50-yard stretch for the remainder of my outing and ended up landing my personal best in quantity. 101 peas! And my PB Top 5  bag: 18lbs 3oz.

By the end of the outing, I was physically beat. But with a hot bite like that, I had to shoot for 100!!

What a day!

Thanks for reading!

Thanks! If you find them, your rod will be bent all day! It's really fun out there right now. Do not let the conditions fool you. Yes, it's bad. Water is high, and current is moving!
