Carnegie Lake views on water:

Summary:  Well...well...well.  Carnegie lake always seems to produce good numbers along with good weights.  Maybe we should have fished the NJ Bass Nation Youth event as those kids definitelhy caught some nice bags....with some 2lbers mixed in.  LOl!!!  As for SJHT, anglers caught dink after dink after dinks, with no one breaking the 2lb mark.  I mean, personally it was tough.  Not getting a single bite alongside the far side of the ramp near the walking/biking trail.  The Bass seem to relate out in the open suddle deeper holes and wanted it very slowly.  I can't recall any one angler culling.  After performing some on the water hook removal surgey on fellow angler Scott, my bites seem to pick up.  Maybe this was my reward.  LOL.  Go figure.

Anyways, we had 11 bass weighed in weighing a total of 13.43lbs.  This gave way to a 1.22 lb. per avgerage.  6 out of 7 anglers caught at least 1 Bass.  Only 1 Misc. weighed in.  We had 1 dead fish penalty. Numerous shorts caught but nothing even approaching what we're use to with a kicker bass of 3~4lbers.  The overnight weather, rain, and possibly barometric pressure may have influence the bite rate but kudo's to those that figured them out...especially those kids fishing the NJ Bass Nation YOUTH Division and there boat Captains.

Overall.... 2 anglers caught there 3 Bass Limit.

Congrats to Rob Masterson, Mike Del Monico, Jiggen Den, and BN06 on your perforrmances.

Next up is MANASQUAN RES. next week.

Tightlines,
BN06
