Conditions:
Water Temps: 86-87
Water Clarity: Slightly Stained
Wind: SE 5-10
Skies: Clear
Fishing Time: 6:00pm - 8:45 pm
Bass Boated: 6
Water Level: High!

Had to try it and was disappointed. Fished Miami canal and it was terrible. I caught 4 bass, 2 nice ones on Wacky and 2 Oscars on topwater. Buddy did 2 LM and 4 O's. Fished hard with top waters, Flukes etc., etc.! Nothing worked. Was no water flow. Level was up which I've seen before when other areas lower out there. Skeeters were awaiting when we got back to ramp!!  LOL Could not attach pics!

Just one of those days, Jim. Appreciate your report. It was great talking to you. ;)

Thanks for the report.  You went down that dirt road to the Miami canal?  How is the ramp out there?  Is it a dirt ramp?  I have been out there with the boat yet.  Always put in at the concrete ramps to the east.

Yes G, dirt road to pumphouse south side, ramp is concrete but no docks, gets tricky when water low. Bumpy trip but I just take my time, silica dust from road is a PIA to clean. Vinegar/water mixture with a little soap works well! I've had more good days than bad out there, so I don't mind the trip plus my boats good for places like that, get it dirty and buy a new one!!! LOL (I wish). Just wasn't a good time I guess.
Cheers,
Jim

Thanks for the info, just don't want to put the carpet through the dirt. That's good for you, It cuts down on a lot of the traffic out there.  Happy hunting!
