My family and I usually go out on the boat for Easter or the holidays, but our son had to work at 3, so we decided to go to Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge and bank fish. We got to the ramps at about 10 and by the second cast, it was on. We stayed until almost 1:30 and bank about 20 fish. Biggest was only about 2.5lbs, but was still a great day with the family.

Now to the Nitty-Gritty. Lol.

*Skies: Clear w/a few scattered clouds
*Air Temp: 79°
*Wind: Occasional light breeze
*Water Clarity: ~4'
*Lures: 6" Strike King Cut-R-Worm in Junebug. Texas rigged w/ 1/8oz bullet and 4/0 VMC wide gap worm hook.
*ETC: Spinning outfits w/8lb test mono

We would cast to the bank opposite of the dock and they were schooling in that eel grass & reeds.

Happy Easter from The Hickman Family.

Everyone looks like they had fun.  One thing about our waters is unless there pumping hard the water is usually clear with all the vegetation we have.
