Well when you least expect it!  It poured on and off almost all day.  At least 4" of rain.  At 4:00 pm it finally cleared and the wind died.  I decided to go to Weston and hit the culvert pipes for an hour or two.  To my surprise the peacock were going crazy for a while.  I only threw plastic stickbaits which are not the ideal peacock bait.  But they were today.  Snapping it off the bottom with a pause after, did the trick.  Caught a nice male, and then a big female on consecutive casts to the same area.
I Ended up with 6 Peas, and 4 black bass in an hour.  Pics will follow!

Thanks guys, it was a fun hour with signs of the hunting wolf packs all over the lake.

Wtg George. I still can't catch peas on stick worms. Don't know how you do it. Lol!

Lou I'm letting the bait fall to the bottom and snapping it up about 3 feet off the bottom, and letting it sink again.  They are slamming it on the jerk up, they love the cadence fast.  Everyone was on the 6" stick-o.  The peas were on the snap and close to cover, the bass were deep while the bait was falling.
