Expride 76hb vs 77hb

Anyone with experience on either? How do the 2 compare?
Could either double as a Carolina rig rod and punching rod?

I've never owned an expride that long. I do have a 7ft.2 Heavy and it's a great Carolina rig and 3/4 oz jig rod.
The expride is pretty much the class of the field in that price range.
