The champion referbs can be had cheaper than the sierras .
Is this as good a deal as it looks to me ?
Anyone with any experience on the referbs ?
Is the warranty the same as new ?

Yes, yes and yes.  I've bought a couple of the refurbished rods from Gary's shop.  Still fishing them and got a helluva good price on them...

Gary won't put them into the Refurb program if he doesn't believe they are perfect.   Don't hesitate, they are great deals and most times don't last.
