I got out to Hosston on 3 Feb as well and caught eight on a variety of baits from jerkbaits, spinnerbait, and a jig. Others are catching them on Senko's.

As for 8 Feb, I had a great day, one at 6-14 one at 7-5 and another just over 8 with several three pounders thrown in for good measure. Caught them on a variety of baits, the only pattern was catch a fish, put the trolling motor on high and move about 100 yards, change baits, catch a fish and repeat... Really strange day, I just couldn't put a true pattern together.

Not sure which fish is which in the pics, just a few I took. These girls are ready to get up on the bank and lay some eggs... Notice the jacket in a couple, it's still chilly in the morning when the wind is blowing.
