Conditions-
Water Temps:62
Outside temps: Low 70's
Skies: Sunny
Wind: NW 5-10
Current: Flowing south from pumphouse
Water Clarity: Clear
Water Level: Favorably low (2.5-3')
Fishing time: 02pm - 5pm
Fish Boated: 42 Largemouth

Had the itch so packed a lunch and decided to go for a boat ride. Launched at the bend on 27 east side north of park. Parking lot was full of FWC folks, doing airboat training. Headed south and water was 2-3 ft lower than lately! Caught a few dinks in canal and tried to get in flats. Very shallow and water clear as a bell. Saw tons of baby bass but no mamas! Wind and current flowing south so ran back north past ramp and few miles towards pumphouse. Started fishing and it was like non-stop hits. Fished mostly with original Rapalas. (gold most productive) Quite a few in 2-3lb range. Good productive day- lunch, fish and didn't go to jail!! (Guys actually helped me launch)  LOL

You're on a roll! Thank you for the report

Nice report, low water levels always make those canals a fun time.  Did you get a bunch of exotics also?  Thanks again for the report. ~c~  ~c~  ~c~
