Fished the Marshlands today. Man, was I pumped to go out this morning. Arrived at 0 dark thirty. Launched and on the water by 0645. Watched the sunrise and the moon set. Pretty cool.

Fishing. It was rough! Caught a little bass early. Then, a decent one a while later. A couple more bites here and there, and then nada. Close to 6 hours of fishing and only 5 bass to show today.

Broke, my favorite spinnerbait. Vegetation was so thick that  it zapped my main TM battery. To wrap up the day. I fell while pulling the basshunter up the levy. I'm ok. Just bruised. But it was one those days.

Thanks for reading!

Hope you're feeling better. At least you didn't get skunked.

Thanks, gang. I'm fine. Sore, but that's typical after fishing the Marshlands off a little boat. ;)

Lou, congrats on figuring the bite out and scoring those 5 bass.  Some days are just tough going.  Glad to hear you wasn't hurt to bad while getting the boat loaded back up in your truck.

Tks for sharing the trip and those pictures with us also.
