With the recent fishing reports of anglers venturing into the Everglades flats. Remember your marsh flags!
These flags, as per the FWC requirements, are 10"x12" and must be displayed 10 feet above the bottom of the hull.

The challenge, at least for me, has always been finding a way to affix the flag properly.

I can finally say I fixed the problem. I found a suction cup RV Antenna holder from Rec Pro that works perfectly!!

I attached an additional tube to steady the flag better, plus attached a rubber stopper on the bottom of the tube so as not to scratch my boats carpet.

Here are a few pics showcasing the Suction Cup Antenna holder.

Inverted pic showing the flag attached to the boat.

~c~ Great solution Lou!

I might add a tether just in case it lets go while you're on plane.

Another good idea Steve. Thanks!

Quick follow up. I used the RecPro RV antenna suction cup holder on Fri, and it worked great! Even as I ran on plane, the suction cup holder stayed on with 0 issues. For the price point, its a great buy/tool if anyone is considering fishing in the marshes.

What do you use for the actual pole? My guess is a 10 foot pole is difficult to find?

I use a long 9ft electrical pvc pole.
