Handle Fitting Questions

Finally got my supplies/small parts orders in, and I did a dry fit of the handles and reel seat last night.

Here's the question:

Do I need to ream the handles out so they have a fairly snug fit to the blank, or should I "over-ream" them just a touch and use arbors, such that there's more room for a glue joint?
