So, in aquiring many Dobyns over the years, and a recent 705CBMF purchase more out of curiosity to try one, I've eventually wound up with all three 705CB's - Graphite, Glass, and MF Glass.

I've read so many reviews and threads, and realize there is some overlap in application, and a lot depends on user preferences, but if you had all three laying on your deck, how would rig them out?  I have an idea, but am curious what others may think - sticking within the typical application of these rods...

705CB will be larger squarebills or lipless.

705CB Glass would be for Rock Crawlers or Deep Little N size baits.

705 CBMF would be flat sided baits, smaller square bills or any other bait where 10 pound test comes into play.

There is quite a bit of over lap but hook wire size, cover type and line size will all dictate what action I would select.  What? No 764CB😃😃😃

Yeah, I left out the other Doybns CB Rods I use, I probably should have mentioned, but I was trying to get the "705CB" mindset lol... I do have the 764, as well as the 684/685/704, the 3 705's, then 764, 765, 765Glass, 805, and 806.  And the 735/736Glass but like most I use them pretty much as dedicated Spinnerbait and Chatterbait rods, not CB rods

I tried the CBMF today for the first time... not super enthralled with it, tbh.  Maybe I was using too big a bait - was throwing a 2.5...  The 10lbs comment makes sense, so I will rig it up a bit lighter next time out and try a 1.5 or similar like Little John's, etc.
