Habitat enhancement project on the St Johns - StickMarsh

I have heard that they are drawing the Stick Marsh down 1 inch per day in February, and in March, it will be dropped a whole bunch. 4ft was the number I heard, but it could be wrong, if correct, it will be time to get the kayaks and canoes out .
Seeing as how they are going to let it fill back up from rainfall, lets hope we get a good rainy season!

I read that earlier today as well.

Danger, danger at that place if you don't know the lay of the land.  One time during low water we had to rock the boat off stumps several times, and Bruce knows that place as well as anyone.
