Champ XP vs Kaden - Fast action difference?

Hey everyone,

Does anyone have experience with similar models in the Champ XP and Kaden lines? I'm particularly curious about the DC734 vs KD744. I currently have a DC734 and am wondering if the KD744's fast action is any different. Asking because the Champ XP and Sierra fast actions are significantly different enough that it gets called out often.

I recommend calling up the dobyns shop and talk to a tech. They can answer these questions matter of factly and you can place an order directly with them if you so choose.

I have both but haven't fished them a ton. They feel like two different rods to me. The Kaden feels slightly heavier and stiffer. It is a good rod. The champion feels slightly lighter and quick, though not necessarily quicker than the kaden. They both seem like versatile rods that could throw 1/4-1/2 oz in a multitude of ways.
