All you in Florida, our prayers are with you, check in when you can. We have family in Sarasota and are praying for them, weren't able to contact them last night.

We were one of the lucky ones. Fortunately we were not effected by this storm. We feel for our fellow Floridians that have been effected.

Thanks bud. FD is ok also. We communicated earlier this morning. Many people have been deeply effected by this storm sadly. Reports are coming in and the news is bad.

All good over here on the east coast. We took a direct hit by the eye but fortunately the storm severely weakened by then. All is good with no damage.

Good to hear from those we have already but there are more we haven't heard from prayers for all.

We came through this very well. No damage other than debris. Never lost power more than a few minutes. I live in a walled community, and we are on a 250 acre lake. We have 5 big docks with about 7-8 slips in each one for residents as well as a ramp for boat launching. The Docks were all destroyed, and several houses lost some of their shingle roofs.
The Winter Haven Chain, which is just down the street, had tons docks damaged or destroyed and there are several trees down all-around town with many without power still at the time of this post.

Compared to Fort Meyers and the coast, what we had is trivial. Some of that will never recover. Heck, it looks like Sanibel Island lost 80% of its land mass for the island let alone the houses that were there. Awful mess this storm caused.
