Hi everyone! I am new here! I wanted to see if I can get some help. I am seeing a guy who is an avid kayak bass fisher, he literally fishes almost everyday. He has a birthday coming up and I want to get him something bass fishing related. Since I'm fairly new to this bass fishing world, I was hoping to get some suggestions from anyone.  Thanks in advance.

Hi! Welcome to UB!

IMO since everyone tends to have their "favorites" as too brand- rod/lure/reel/clothing I would think a gift card to a tackle shop would be a great idea. If you know of one he goes too often I'd choose that one!

Any gift you give him will def be appreciated! My wife learned early on that I could spend hours roaming a bass pro shops if I had gift card $$ to spend! Good luck!

Welcome aboard!
I concur with Lou and Rudy. Without knowing a lot about what he likes and needs, picking out something like gear will be tough. Every bass angler gets a little bit of a charge from a gift card to his favorite tackle store. The big box stores like BassPro and Cabella's make it easy.

If he's not already a famous angler with his picture on the cover of a magazine, you could make him one. https://www.yourcover.com/Browse-Covers/All-magazine-cover-templates/fishing (I have no affiliation with them, just found it browsing the internet.)
Good luck!

That's a cool idea!! Get a good shot of him catching a bass or casting action shot and there ya go!

Could always pull the whole "My coworker is getting into bass fishing, what are some of your favorite baits, clothing, etc" as well.  Could start a good conversation and get some ideas of what he needs, etc.  He may catch on, but even if he does, I am sure he will appreciate the gesture.  I know I would.
There is nothing like sharing any moment outdoors with someone special!
